| CVE-2023-47415(opens NVD record) | High | 7.5 | Cypress Solutions CTM-200 v2.7.1.5600 and below was discovered to contain an OS command injection vulnerability via the cli_text parameter. | Mar 7, 2024 |
| CVE-2024-27303(opens NVD record) | High | 7.3 | electron-builder is a solution to package and build a ready for distribution Electron, Proton Native app for macOS, Windows and Linux. A vulnerability that only affects eletron-builder prior to 24.13.2 in Windows, the NSIS installer makes a system call to open cmd.exe via NSExec in the `.nsh` installer script. NSExec by default searches the current directory of where the installer is located before searching `PATH`. This means that if an attacker can place a malicious executable file named cmd.exe in the same folder as the installer, the installer will run the malicious file. Version 24.13.2 fixes this issue. No known workaround exists. The code executes at the installer-level before the app is present on the system, so there's no way to check if it exists in a current installer. | Mar 6, 2024 |
| CVE-2024-25111(opens NVD record) | High | 8.6 | Squid is a web proxy cache. Starting in version 3.5.27 and prior to version 6.8, Squid may be vulnerable to a Denial of Service attack against HTTP Chunked decoder due to an uncontrolled recursion bug. This problem allows a remote attacker to cause Denial of Service when sending a crafted, chunked, encoded HTTP Message. This bug is fixed in Squid version 6.8. In addition, patches addressing this problem for the stable releases can be found in Squid's patch archives. There is no workaround for this issue. | Mar 6, 2024 |
| CVE-2024-20346(opens NVD record) | Medium | 5.4 | A vulnerability in the web-based management interface of Cisco AppDynamics Controller could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to perform a reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) attack against a user of the interface of an affected device. This vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input by the web-based management interface. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by persuading a user to click a malicious link. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary script code in the context of the affected interface or access sensitive, browser-based information. | Mar 6, 2024 |
| CVE-2024-20345(opens NVD record) | Medium | 6.5 | A vulnerability in the file upload functionality of Cisco AppDynamics Controller could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to conduct directory traversal attacks on an affected device. This vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted request to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to access sensitive data on an affected device. | Mar 6, 2024 |
| CVE-2024-20338(opens NVD record) | High | 7.3 | A vulnerability in the ISE Posture (System Scan) module of Cisco Secure Client for Linux could allow an authenticated, local attacker to elevate privileges on an affected device. This vulnerability is due to the use of an uncontrolled search path element. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by copying a malicious library file to a specific directory in the filesystem and persuading an administrator to restart a specific process. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary code on an affected device with root privileges. | Mar 6, 2024 |
| CVE-2024-20337(opens NVD record) | High | 8.2 | A vulnerability in the SAML authentication process of Cisco Secure Client could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to conduct a carriage return line feed (CRLF) injection attack against a user. This vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by persuading a user to click a crafted link while establishing a VPN session. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary script code in the browser or access sensitive, browser-based information, including a valid SAML token. The attacker could then use the token to establish a remote access VPN session with the privileges of the affected user. Individual hosts and services behind the VPN headend would still need additional credentials for successful access. | Mar 6, 2024 |
| CVE-2024-20336(opens NVD record) | Medium | 6.5 | A vulnerability in the web-based user interface of Cisco Small Business 100, 300, and 500 Series Wireless APs could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to perform buffer overflow attacks against an affected device. In order to exploit this vulnerability, the attacker must have valid administrative credentials for the device. This vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted HTTP request to the web-based management interface of an affected device. | CVE-2024-26625(opens NVD record) | High | 7.8 | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: llc: call sock_orphan() at release time syzbot reported an interesting trace [1] caused by a stale sk->sk_wq pointer in a closed llc socket. In commit ff7b11aa481f ("net: socket: set sock->sk to NULL after calling proto_ops::release()") Eric Biggers hinted that some protocols are missing a sock_orphan(), we need to perform a full audit. In net-next, I plan to clear sock->sk from sock_orphan() and amend Eric patch to add a warning. | CVE-2024-26623(opens NVD record) | High | 7.8 | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: pds_core: Prevent race issues involving the adminq There are multiple paths that can result in using the pdsc's adminq. [1] pdsc_adminq_isr and the resulting work from queue_work(), i.e. pdsc_work_thread()->pdsc_process_adminq() [2] pdsc_adminq_post() When the device goes through reset via PCIe reset and/or a fw_down/fw_up cycle due to bad PCIe state or bad device state the adminq is destroyed and recreated. A NULL pointer dereference can happen if [1] or [2] happens after the adminq is already destroyed. In order to fix this, add some further state checks and implement reference counting for adminq uses. Reference counting was used because multiple threads can attempt to access the adminq at the same time via [1] or [2]. Additionally, multiple clients (i.e. pds-vfio-pci) can be using [2] at the same time. The adminq_refcnt is initialized to 1 when the adminq has been allocated and is ready to use. Users/clients of the adminq (i.e. [1] and [2]) will increment the refcnt when they are using the adminq. When the driver goes into a fw_down cycle it will set the PDSC_S_FW_DEAD bit and then wait for the adminq_refcnt to hit 1. Setting the PDSC_S_FW_DEAD before waiting will prevent any further adminq_refcnt increments. Waiting for the adminq_refcnt to hit 1 allows for any current users of the adminq to finish before the driver frees the adminq. Once the adminq_refcnt hits 1 the driver clears the refcnt to signify that the adminq is deleted and cannot be used. On the fw_up cycle the driver will once again initialize the adminq_refcnt to 1 allowing the adminq to be used again. | Mar 6, 2024 |
| CVE-2023-52606(opens NVD record) | High | 7.8 | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: powerpc/lib: Validate size for vector operations Some of the fp/vmx code in sstep.c assume a certain maximum size for the instructions being emulated. The size of those operations however is determined separately in analyse_instr(). Add a check to validate the assumption on the maximum size of the operations, so as to prevent any unintended kernel stack corruption. | Mar 6, 2024 |

| CVE-2022-48629(opens NVD record) | High | 8.1 | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: crypto: qcom-rng - ensure buffer for generate is completely filled The generate function in struct rng_alg expects that the destination buffer is completely filled if the function returns 0. qcom_rng_read() can run into a situation where the buffer is partially filled with randomness and the remaining part of the buffer is zeroed since qcom_rng_generate() doesn't check the return value. This issue can be reproduced by running the following from libkcapi: kcapi-rng -b 9000000 > OUTFILE The generated OUTFILE will have three huge sections that contain all zeros, and this is caused by the code where the test 'val & PRNG_STATUS_DATA_AVAIL' fails. Let's fix this issue by ensuring that qcom_rng_read() always returns with a full buffer if the function returns success. Let's also have qcom_rng_generate() return the correct value. Here's some statistics from the ent project (https://www.fourmilab.ch/random/) that shows information about the quality of the generated numbers: $ ent -c qcom-random-before Value Char Occurrences Fraction 0 606748 0.067416 1 33104 0.003678 2 33001 0.003667 ... 253 32883 0.003654 254 33035 0.003671 255 33239 0.003693 Total: 9000000 1.000000 Entropy = 7.811590 bits per byte. Optimum compression would reduce the size of this 9000000 byte file by 2 percent. Chi square distribution for 9000000 samples is 9329962.81, and randomly would exceed this value less than 0.01 percent of the times. Arithmetic mean value of data bytes is 119.3731 (127.5 = random). Monte Carlo value for Pi is 3.197293333 (error 1.77 percent). Serial correlation coefficient is 0.159130 (totally uncorrelated = 0.0). Without this patch, the results of the chi-square test is 0.01%, and the numbers are certainly not random according to ent's project page. The results improve with this patch: $ ent -c qcom-random-after Value Char Occurrences Fraction 0 35432 0.003937 1 35127 0.003903 2 35424 0.003936 ... 253 35201 0.003911 254 34835 0.003871 255 35368 0.003930 Total: 9000000 1.000000 Entropy = 7.999979 bits per byte. | CVE-2021-47107(opens NVD record) | Critical | 9.8 | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: NFSD: Fix READDIR buffer overflow If a client sends a READDIR count argument that is too small (say, zero), then the buffer size calculation in the new init_dirlist helper functions results in an underflow, allowing the XDR stream functions to write beyond the actual buffer. This calculation has always been suspect. NFSD has never sanity- checked the READDIR count argument, but the old entry encoders managed the problem correctly. With the commits below, entry encoding changed, exposing the underflow to the pointer arithmetic in xdr_reserve_space(). Modern NFS clients attempt to retrieve as much data as possible for each READDIR request. Also, we have no unit tests that exercise the behavior of READDIR at the lower bound of @count values. Thus this case was missed during testing. | Mar 4, 2024 |

| CVE-2021-47103(opens NVD record) | Critical | 9.8 | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: inet: fully convert sk->sk_rx_dst to RCU rules syzbot reported various issues around early demux, one being included in this changelog [1] sk->sk_rx_dst is using RCU protection without clearly documenting it. And following sequences in tcp_v4_do_rcv()/tcp_v6_do_rcv() are not following standard RCU rules. [a] dst_release(dst); [b] sk->sk_rx_dst = NULL; They look wrong because a delete operation of RCU protected pointer is supposed to clear the pointer before the call_rcu()/synchronize_rcu() guarding actual memory freeing. In some cases indeed, dst could be freed before [b] is done. We could cheat by clearing sk_rx_dst before calling dst_release(), but this seems the right time to stick to standard RCU annotations and debugging facilities.
